Through Water for Peace, Americans and Iraqis work together to build relationships and restore access to clean water in Iraqi schools and hospitals. Americans and Iraqis cooperate from both sides of the globe to find common goals and build peace together, with each person playing an equal role in the process.

  • Learn:  about Iraq, water issues, peace-building, and nonviolence through resources provided by Water for Peace and the Muslim Peacemaker Teams.

  • Organize: a group committed to a Water for Peace project. Host educational event(s) to spread awareness of water and other issues in Iraq, host fundraising event(s) for a water sanitation system for a school in Iraq, and advocate for policies that support the rebuilding of water infrastructure and access to clean water in Iraq.

  • Connect: with Iraqi peers through letters, emails, photos, videos, and sound.
